ROCHE BOBOIS AT THE 2024 PARIS DESIGNER’S DAYS

For this second year of its major comeback, the Paris Designer’s Days – organized as a creative festival – gathers 15 brands and furniture manufacturers of the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district. The Designer’s Days aim to promote design to industry professionals – designers, interior architects, opinion leaders – and the general public alike.
“Game!” is the title of the 2024 edition of the Designer’s Days. This opportunity for fruitful exchanges and meetings will be held just ahead of the Olympic Games, making it the ideal time for Left Bank showrooms to present their interpretation of the theme.

Diversity and customization are two hallmarks of Roche Bobois: color palettes, samples and sample books are all pawns in the greater game of design; the goal is to bring them together in a personal game of constructive recreation.
Pawns in both a literal and figurative sense... At this year’s Designer’s Days circuit on the Left Bank of Paris, centered on games, Roche Bobois presents Échec et Mat (Checkmate). The installation depicts a giant chessboard: a series of movable, playful pieces, occasional tables and end tables tease each other and open a dialog between styles and materials.
