PREVIEW IN PARIS

On Thursday, 11 January 2024, Roche Bobois presented the Palatine collection – its most recent collaboration with French designer Christophe Delcourt – to the press.

In a typically Parisian apartment near the Place des Vosges in the Marais district, French and international journalists had a chance to view the various pieces making up the Palatine collection. Exploring the concept of interaction between wood and stone, the dining table and sideboard reveal an elegant interplay of walnut and travertine. With these two pieces, Christophe Delcourt instills solid materials with a time-worn effect. The striking lines express a gentle sensuality.

The complementary sofa and armchair build on this same concept and workmanship. The piping draws interweaving lines that highlight the interlocking seats and armrests, while the new wool-alpaca bouclé fabric enhances the plump, soft aspect of this generous and inviting piece.
