The diagonal design details of the top conceal the opening for the diamond-shaped extension leaf. The base that is made of 3 triangles in lacquered metal complements the details on the tabletop.

Roche Bobois has collaborated with Milanese designer-architect Luigi Gorgoni since the mid 1970s. A number of his designs, including the Brooklyn sideboard, the Vanity bedroom and Arbalete collection have become Roche Bobois classics. Gorgoni is driven by curiosity into new materials, new technologies and new configurations that "create the perfect harmony between function, form and structure".
