Carlo Zerbaro has a family background steeped in science and is himself a member of several professional industrial design bodies. His creative work is therefore informed by a preference for research and the application of scientific principles. Zebraro has worked in the fields of architecture, photography and communication and has companies in Italy, New York and Shanghai dedicated to achieving and applying expertise in industrial design. However, he also seeks a crossover between art and functional design and works closely with specialists and talents from a variety of fields, in order to add value to the final product. The winner of many awards, Zerbaro has created the Santorini cocktail tables and the CHIC lighting series for Roche Bobois.
