ELLE DECO INTERNATIONAL AWARDS 2020

Each year, ELLE Decoration’s 25 international editions come together at the Milan Furniture Fair to award the best in design. On this occasion, the editors in chief of each edition present the EDIDA (ELLE Deco International Design Awards), to award the most beautiful designs and best talents of the year.

For this year’s 17th edition, the ceremony was organized virtually and broadcast on June 25. Among the winners is the Primordial bookcase by Roche Bobois, designed by Raphael Navot.

Mineral, atypical, tempting, the Primordial bookcase, from the Nativ collection by Raphael Navot for Roche Bobois, appears as a tribal object that could have been shaped from the earth, thousands of years ago.

The synthesis of the dialogue between nature and culture characterizes this collection. The detailing of the shelves introduce elements of geometry with their irregular shape.

Almost like a sculpture, and most likely to be a future icon
